This collaborative Hazy IPA bursts with an intense, sunny radiance driven entirely by a single-hop showcase of Pacific Sunrise. Pouring a dense, glowing orange-gold with a thick, meringue-like head, it immediately releases massive, sweet aromas of freshly squeezed clementines, ripe mango, and passion fruit. On the palate, the hop-forward profile delivers a luscious wave of tropical citrus and soft stone fruit, supported by a smooth, pillowy malt backbone. Balanced with a remarkably soft bitterness and Verdant's signature juicy yeast profile, it finishes with a clean, fruity, off-dry linger.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (5-6 SRM). Opaque and heavily hazy with a glowing, luminous shine. Supports a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and dense lacing.
Aroma. High-intensity aroma dominated by bright citrus zest, sweet clementine, mango, and passion fruit. Underpinned by a soft, bready, and lightly doughy malt character with supportive fruity fermentation esters and absolutely no herbal or grassy notes.
Taste. An initial rush of juicy tropical fruit and sweet citrus flavors. Low, bready, and doughy malt flavor serves as a soft canvas. Medium-low perceived hop bitterness that is smooth and non-grassy. Finishes soft and off-dry with a lingering, pleasant aftertaste of tropical fruit and orange peel, devoid of any harshness or hop burn.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, pillowy, and velvety-soft on the palate. Moderate carbonation. Features a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and is completely free of any astringent hop burn or raw starch texture.
