This 10% Double IPA represents the pinnacle of Verdant’s hop-saturated approach, delivering an intense sensory experience defined by its sheer hop volume. The aroma is a concentrated blast of tropical fruit, ripe stone fruit, and zesty citrus, supported by a soft, grainy malt backbone. On the palate, a thick, creamy texture carries explosive flavors of mango and resinous pine, finishing with a smooth, well-integrated alcohol warmth. While incredibly bold, it maintains a clean fermentation profile and a firm but velvety bitterness, ensuring the massive hop character remains the focus from the first aromatic wave to the lingering, fruity finish.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper; opaque with a significant permanent haze typical of the brewery style. Thick, creamy, persistent off-white head with dense, soapy lacing.
Aroma. Intense, saturated hop aroma dominated by tropical fruits like mango and pineapple, alongside passionfruit, peach, and citrus zest. Low, neutral, grainy malt presence. Noticeable but clean alcohol; fruity esters complement the hop character.
Taste. Initial impression of massive hop saturation featuring tropical fruit, stone fruit, and citrus. Moderate-high bitterness that is smooth and lacking harshness. Nun hat die Brauerei Verdant eine boostet Version des Bieres gebraut und released: das Puttty - mit drei "t" - ein Triple IPA. Und was für eine Bombe! Was hier von den Jungs aus Cornwall gebraut wurde, ist mal wieder absolute Weltklasse. Natürlich wurde auch diese Version mit Galaxy, Mosaic und Azacca gebraut.
Die brandneue 2025er Version ist sogar noch besser als die schon sehr beliebte 2024er Version!
