Peripheral Visions is a vibrant, hazy alcohol-free take on the American IPA, showcasing Verdant’s signature hop-forward intensity. This collaboration yields a sensory profile bursting with the lime-zest brightness of Motueka and the citrus punch of Citra. Tropical complexity flourishes through the addition of Nectaron and NZH-101, offering deep notes of stone fruit and passionfruit. Despite its low alcohol content, the beer maintains a supporting grainy malt backbone that allows the multifaceted hop character to lead. It finishes clean and dry, leaving a lingering impression of fresh tropical fruit and a well-integrated, firm bitterness that stays true to the style’s roots.
Appearance. Medium gold with a prominent, opaque haze. Features a medium-sized white head with excellent persistence and consistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent tropical fruit, peach, and lime zest. Clean, low grainy maltiness supports the fruit-forward profile. Fermentation is clean with no detectable alcohol.
Taste. High hop flavor echoing the aroma with notes of grapefruit, passionfruit, and stone fruit. Low grainy malt sweetness quickly gives way to a medium-high hop bitterness. The finish is medium-dry and crisp with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.
