This indulgent Imperial Stout presents a lush, dessert-like profile, crafted as a rich double milk stout collaboration. Deep layers of dark chocolate arise from the addition of Peruvian cacaovella, harmonizing elegantly with the aromatic sweetness of natural vanilla. The infusion of strawberries adds a vibrant, ripe berry character that cuts through the intense, roasted malt base. Creamy lactose provides a velvety texture, supporting decadent flavors of cocoa and cream. While the roast remains firm, the overall impression is one of a delicate, liquid truffle. It concludes with a long, harmonious finish where the interplay of berry fruit and dark malt lingers gracefully.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (SRM 40). Pours with a thick, persistent deep tan head that leaves dense lacing on the glass. High viscosity and significant body are apparent in the glass.

Aroma. Intense and complex. Dominant notes of dark chocolate and roasted cocoa from the Peruvian cacaovella. Strong natural vanilla sweetness complements a distinct, jammy strawberry character. Background notes of toasted malt, light caramel, and a hint of espresso with no hop aroma.

Taste. Initial impression of sweet milk chocolate and heavy cream. The mid-palate reveals ripe strawberry and smooth vanilla. Malt flavors of baker's chocolate and toasted bread are balanced by a moderate roast bitterness and the significant sweetness of lactose. The finish is lingering and sweet with a soft berry and cocoa aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and chewy with a velvety, luscious, and creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. A gentle, smooth alcohol warmth is present, though well-integrated into the thick body.
