This City Cake 2025 Imperial Stout is an indulgent, dessert-like experience that balances power with finesse. Reaching 11% ABV, it presents a complex sensory profile dominated by the aromatic intensity of roasted peanuts and lush, creamy vanilla. These adjuncts are layered over a robust foundation of bittersweet chocolate and espresso-like roasted malts. A subtle addition of salt acts as a flavor enhancer, sharpening the sweet and savory interplay while providing a necessary counterpoint to the beer’s inherent richness. Appearance. SRM 40; jet black and completely opaque. Features a dense, dark tan to mocha-colored head with moderate retention. High viscosity is evident through thick legs clinging to the glass upon swirling.

Pronounced scents of freshly roasted peanuts and sweet vanilla bean lead the profile, followed by deep roasted malt notes of cocoa, dark chocolate, and charred grain.
