This exquisite Fruit Lambic, a blend of five distinct spontaneously fermented barrels aged for two years, showcases the luscious essence of Greek apricots. The nose opens with an intense wave of fermented stone fruit, deeply integrated with the wild, barnyard funk of a mature Gueuze. On the palate, vibrant acidity and tart apricot flavors dance alongside notes of aged oak and leather, leading to a bone-dry, puckering finish. Its complex layers reflect the patient craftsmanship of Vandenbroek, balancing the bright acidity of the fruit with the earthy, rustic undertones of a traditional spontaneous ferment.

Appearance. Deep golden-orange with a soft, hazy glow from the fruit; pours with a thick, rocky, mousse-like white head that shows moderate to high retention.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of ripe, fermented Greek apricots lead the profile, backed by a complex barnyard funk consisting of hay, horse blanket, and goat notes. A light oak woodiness and sharp lactic acidity provide further depth.

Taste. Initial tartness is followed by rich, fermented apricot flavors and complex wild yeast character. The profile is bone-dry with virtually no hop bitterness, balanced instead by high acidity and rustic earthy notes. The finish is clean and lingering with a fruit-skin tartness.

Mouthfeel. Light to medium-light body with a lively, sparkling carbonation. Features a notable tart, puckering quality without harsh astringency; finishes with a subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
