Dreamcatcher is a quintessential Hazy IPA that exemplifies the juicy, fruit-forward nature of the style. It pours with a characteristic opaque glow and a thick, meringue-like head. The double dry-hopping process elevates the sensory experience, delivering an intense aromatic punch of tropical fruits like mango and pineapple, intertwined with bright citrus notes. On the palate, the beer is remarkably soft and lush, supported by a bready, grain-forward malt base that avoids any caramel sweetness. With its restrained bitterness and smooth, pillowy texture, this New England-style ale provides a refreshing and fruit-dominant finish that lingers pleasantly without any hop harshness.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (3-6 SRM). Opaque haze with a luminous quality; thick, rocky, white head with excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring heavy tropical fruit (pineapple, mango) and citrus (tangerine). Clean, bready, and lightly grainy malt in the background. Fruity fermentation esters are present and harmonize with the hops.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with notes of passion fruit and citrus. Low to medium-low malt flavor, appearing as neutral grain or soft bread. Bitterness is low-moderate and well-masked by a full body. Finishes off-dry and smooth with a lingering, juicy hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky, and smooth texture. Moderate carbonation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. No astringency or harshness.
