Vagamundo Belgian Blanche
This Witbier offers a bright, refreshing profile driven by a base of Pils malt and wheat. It presents a vibrant sensory experience characterized by high effervescence and a soft, approachable palate. The addition of orange skin provides a distinct, zesty citric aroma that harmonizes with subtle herbal undertones typical of the style. Appearance. Very pale straw to light yellow (SRM 2-4). Distinctly hazy and cloudy with a milky shine from wheat and yeast. Features a dense, white, moussy head with good retention.
Aroma. Moderate intensity with dominant zesty, citrusy-orange fruitiness. Background notes of bready, grainy wheat malt and light honey sweetness. Subtle herbal and spicy esters from the yeast; hop aroma is absent.
Taste. Initial impression is refreshingly crisp with a bready, grainy malt flavor and a touch of vanilla-like sweetness. Moderate zesty orange citrus flavors are prominent, balanced by low spicy-herbal character. Hop bitterness is low, supporting a clean and dry finish without any harsh aftertaste.
