Regenerator is a decadent Doppelbock that honors the historic tradition of liquid bread with a modern, patient touch. It pours a deep, mahogany brown with ruby highlights, supported by a luxurious body born from ten weeks of cold lagering. The olfactory experience is defined by intense Maillard complexity, offering evocative notes of deeply toasted bread crust and a sophisticated tapestry of dark fruits like plums and raisins. On the palate, the beer is intensely malty and velvet-smooth, balancing its significant weight with a clean fermentation profile and a gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth. It finishes with a lingering, bready sweetness and a whisper of dark fruit leather.
Appearance. Dark brown with deep ruby highlights; brilliant clarity. Topped by a large, creamy, off-white head with excellent persistence and fine lacing.
