Goldings British Pilsner is a sophisticated cross-cultural lager that marries the structural crispness of a German Pils with the floral elegance of traditional English agriculture. Brewed with 100% Pilsner malt using a traditional double decoction mash, the base offers a refined depth of toasted cracker and light honey. This provides a sturdy canvas for the star ingredient: East Kent Goldings. Liberally dry-hopped, these hops deliver a moderately-high intensity of flowery lavender, spicy marjoram, and a subtle earthy herbalism. Fermented cold and slow, the beer presents a brilliantly clean profile, finishing with a crisp, mineral snap and a lingering, noble bitterness that invites another sip.

Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (3-4 SRM); brilliant clarity; persistent, creamy white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. Moderately-high hop aroma featuring floral lavender, honey-like spice, and herbal notes from the East Kent Goldings. Low to medium grainy-sweet malt character with distinct toasted cracker and doughy depth from the decoction process. Clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial grainy Pilsner malt flavor is quickly overtaken by a firm, assertive hop bitterness. Hop flavors mirror the aroma with floral and spicy notes. Medium-high bitterness is clean and well-defined. The finish is very dry and crisp, with a lingering minerality and herbal hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, slightly flinty texture. High carbonation provides a lively, refreshing scrub on the palate. Minimal alcohol warmth; very smooth and free of astringency.
