UTCA Brews Pop 'N Lock
Pop 'N Lock presents as a quintessentially juicy Hazy IPA, characterized by an explosion of tropical and citrus notes. The strategic use of Citra and El Dorado in the whirlpool provides a foundation of stone fruit and bright lime, while a massive dry-hop addition of El Dorado and Cryo-Pop elevates the profile with intense pineapple and mango intensity. A generous grist of oats and wheat creates a characteristic soft, pillowy texture and a smooth mouthfeel that belies its approachable 5.5% ABV. It finishes with a restrained bitterness, allowing the vibrant, fruit-forward hop character to remain the primary focus throughout the experience.
Appearance. Color is a hazy, nearly opaque straw to light gold with a luminous shine. It features a medium, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical mango, pineapple, and citrus zest. A clean, bready, and lightly grainy malt presence provides a supportive background, with clean fermentation esters that complement the hops.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate, and alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated, with no harshness or astringency.
