This Hazy IPA offers a vibrant sensory exploration defined by its saturated hop profile. The use of Citra provides an immediate burst of juicy citrus and tangerine, while Galaxy adds deep layers of tropical passionfruit and peach. Strata rounds out the experience with its signature dank resinous undertone and notes of dark berries. Appearance. Straw to light amber (3–7 SRM). Opaque, hazy appearance with a healthy shine rather than a murky look. Pours with a dense, meringue-like white head exhibiting high retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma dominated by tropical fruit (passionfruit, guava) and citrus (tangerine). Distinct dank, resinous notes are present. Background malt is clean and lightly bready; no caramel or toast. Fermentation esters are supportive and fruity, blending seamlessly with the hop profile.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with notes of grapefruit, peach, and tropical berries. Low to medium-low bready malt flavor provides a neutral canvas. Bitterness is low to medium, feeling soft and integrated rather than sharp. The finish is off-dry and smooth, with a lingering fruit-skin aftertaste and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, silky texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift. Very low alcohol warmth consistent with the 5.5% ABV. Entirely smooth with no astringency or raw starch feel.
