The Gadget is a vibrant Wild Specialty Beer that exemplifies the intense, fruit-forward philosophy of a Midwest Fruit Tart. Saturated with massive additions of blackberries and raspberries, the sensory profile is dominated by jammy bramble notes and a sharp, clean lactic acidity. A delicate infusion of vanilla bean provides a smoothing, creamy aromatic lift that rounds out the fruit's natural tartness without adding cloying sweetness. The high alcohol content provides a robust structural backbone, while the berries contribute a deep, opaque purple hue. The experience is defined by a bold interplay between puckering sourness and rich, authentic fruit character, finishing remarkably dry with a lingering berry skin tannin.

Appearance. Deep, opaque magenta to dark purple with a thick, frothy pinkish-purple head that shows moderate retention and slight lacing. Complete opacity due to the exceptionally high fruit load.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics of fresh-pressed blackberries and tart raspberries. A subtle but distinct creamy vanilla bean character provides a marshmallow-like sweetness. Fermentation is clean and lactic with no noticeable hop aroma or funk, though the fruit acids are sharp and bright.
