Fast Forward 2024 is an expressive Hazy IPA that highlights the unique terroir of New Zealand through an intentional selection of Southern Hemisphere hops. The inclusion of Superdelic™ imparts a distinctive red berry and ripe stone fruit complexity, while Nectaron® and Wai-iti™ provide lush layers of peach, lime, and bright citrus. The beer presents a soft, opaque appearance with a persistent meringue-like head. On the palate, the intense hop fruitiness is balanced by a neutral, bready malt backbone and a restrained bitterness that emphasizes a juicy, smooth finish. This collaboration captures a modern, tropical profile with a soft, well-integrated mouthfeel.
Appearance. Color is a hazy, opaque straw to light amber (4–6 SRM) with a healthy shine. It features a medium to rocky white head with high retention and meringue-like lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with prominent stone fruit (peach, apricot), red berry, and citrus notes. Malt character is low and neutral, presenting as lightly bready or grainy. Clean fermentation with supportive fruity esters and no detectable alcohol aroma.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of high fruity hop flavors, specifically red berry, stone fruit, and lime. Low bready malt flavor provides a neutral foundation. Bitterness is low to medium and very soft, never sharp. The finish is off-dry to medium and smooth with a lingering, juicy fruit aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, soft texture and moderate carbonation. No harshness or astringency is present. Perceived alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated at 6.5% ABV.
