Common Green V2 is a vibrant, modern American Pale Ale that showcases double dry-hopped intensity. A foundation of Scottish pale malt and oats creates a soft, bready canvas that allows the hop profile to shine with aromatic clarity. High-impact notes of tropical mango and stone fruit from Mosaic hops intertwine with the bright, zesty grapefruit and lime character of Citra. On the palate, a moderate bitterness balances a smooth, slightly creamy texture derived from the oat addition. The finish is clean and refreshing, leaving a lingering impression of citrus peel and light grain. This beer exemplifies the style’s evolution, prioritizing expressive hop aromatics and drinkability.
Appearance. Pale golden (6 SRM) with a slight, persistent haze. Features a large, frothy white head with excellent retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit, blueberry, and citrus zest. Low grainy-sweet malt scents with a hint of fresh bread support the Mosaic and Citra characteristics. Clean fermentation with very low fruity esters.
