This sessionable Belgian Single captures the essence of a historic table beer, designed for communal enjoyment without heavy alcohol. Despite its light 3.6% ABV, it presents a complex profile of peppery phenols and fruity esters reminiscent of fresh pear and citrus. A lean backbone of Pilsner malt provides a crisp, cracker-like foundation that allows the spicy and floral notes of Continental hops to shine. Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (3-4 SRM). Brilliantly clear with a large, persistent, billowy white head that leaves significant lacing.
