This Imperial Stout presents a decadent sensory experience, merging deep-roast malt foundations with dessert-forward adjuncts. Midnight Toffee Stout opens with an opulent bouquet of cacao nibs and vanilla beans, creating a layered chocolate-confectionery profile. The addition of Belgian candi syrup lends a distinct burnt-sugar and rich toffee complexity, while milk sugar provides a velvety, lush sweetness that rounds out the heavy roast. At 12.3%, a smooth alcohol warmth integrates seamlessly with the intense dark fruit esters and espresso-like bitterness. It is a harmonious, full-bodied expression of the style, delivering a lingering, bittersweet finish of dark chocolate and caramelized sugar.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque. It supports a thick, dense, dark-tan head with moderate retention. High viscosity and alcohol content are visible as oily 'legs' on the sides of the glass.

Mouthfeel. Full to very full-bodied and chewy with a velvety, luscious texture enhanced by the milk sugar. Carbonation is low to moderate. A significant but smooth and well-integrated alcohol warmth is present throughout.
