Appearance. Deep gold to light orange; opaque haze with a thick, persistent, creamy white head that leaves significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity; prominent notes of grapefruit and lime from the Citra, blueberry and mango from the Mosaic, with distinct gooseberry and white wine esters from the Nelson Sauvin over a faint resinous, spicy pine Chinook backdrop. Clean, neutral grainy malt in the background.
Taste. Initial punch of tropical fruit and citrus pith. Hop flavors mirror the aroma with layers of passion fruit, stone fruit, and a subtle damp pine. Moderately high bitterness that is firm but lacks harshness. Soft, bready malt support with a medium-dry, lingering hoppy finish.
