Unseen Creatures Brewing & Blending

The Fool is a vibrant Hazy IPA that marries traditional hop punch with delicate floral and fruit nuances. An intricate hop bill featuring CTZ, Ekuanot, Citra, and Mosaic delivers a layered sensory experience. Bright notes of lemongrass and honeysuckle provide an elegant aromatic lift, while deep flavors of dark plum and tropical fruit dominate the palate. The appearance is characteristically hazy with a soft, glowing straw-to-orange hue and a persistent white head. Despite its moderate strength, the mouthfeel remains remarkably smooth and plush, balancing a gentle, grainy malt backbone against a restrained bitterness that ensures a refreshing, fruit-forward finish.

Appearance. Straw to light orange color (4-6 SRM) with a high degree of haze and a luminous, opaque quality. Topped by a dense, white, meringue-like head with excellent retention and significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a complex blend of tropical fruit, citrus, and stone fruit. Distinctive scents of honeysuckle and lemongrass are prominent, backed by deeper notes of dark plum. Malt is subtle, providing a light bready or grainy foundation with no caramel or toast present.

Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of fruity hop flavors, specifically citrus and dark plum, supported by the floral lemongrass character of the Ekuanot and Mosaic hops. Malt flavor is low to medium, tasting of fresh grain. The bitterness is moderate and soft on the palate, lacking any harshness or sharp edges. The finish is medium-dry and showcases a lingering essence of tropical fruit and honeysuckle.

Mouthfeel. Medium to medium-full body with a characteristically soft, plush texture. Carbonation is moderate. It exhibits a smooth, non-astringent mouthfeel with very light alcohol warmth consistent with its strength.
