Duelo Pirata is a vibrant Hazy IPA that balances tropical intensity with a remarkably smooth, soft texture. The sensory profile is driven by a strategic trio of Strata, Southern Cross, and Citra, delivering a wave of yellow fruits and zesty lemon. A characteristic dankness emerges from the Strata, grounding the bright citrus notes with resinous depth. At 7% ABV, the alcohol is well-hidden behind a pillowy, grainy malt backbone, ensuring high drinkability. The finish is soft and juice-like, eschewing harsh bitterness for a bold, fruit-forward presence that perfectly captures the modern New England style.

Appearance. Straw to light orange (3–6 SRM). Distinctively hazy and opaque with a luminous shine. Features a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and beautiful lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring layers of tropical yellow fruits (apricot, mango) and bright lemon zest. A distinct resinous, dank quality is present, supported by a low, grainy, bready malt character. Fermentation is clean with supportive fruity esters.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor of pineapple, lemon, and stone fruit. Initial impression is juicy and soft. Strata hops provide a complex dankness that balances the fruit. Bitterness is medium-low and smooth, never sharp. Low bready malt flavor supports the hops. The finish is off-dry and soft with a lingering fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth. Very smooth, lacking any astringency or hop burn.
