Crafted as a vibrant collaboration between UnBarred and Vault City, this Berliner Weisse is a sensory celebration of summer. It leads with a sharp, punchy lactic acidity that immediately highlights the addition of fresh strawberries and bright lemons. The base reveals a subtle, doughy wheat character that provides a soft canvas for the intense fruit profile. It pours a delicate, soft pink with an effervescent character that lifts the aromas of sun-ripened berries and citrus zest. Refreshing and beautifully balanced, it finishes remarkably dry, leaving a lingering tartness and the playful essence of strawberry lemonade on the palate.

Appearance. Pours a soft, hazy pink with a light straw undertone (3-5 SRM). Features a large, fine-beaded white head with a faint pinkish tint that dissipates quickly, characteristic of the style's poor retention. Highly effervescent with brilliant carbonation.

Aroma. High intensity of sharp, clean lactic sourness. Dominant notes of fresh, ripe strawberry and zesty lemon citrus. Behind the fruit, a light bready, raw dough wheat character emerges, reminiscent of sourdough. No hop aroma or fermentation byproducts like diacetyl are present.

Taste. A sharp, clean lactic acidity hits the palate first, immediately followed by a juicy wave of tart strawberry and bright lemon juice. A foundational doughy, grainy wheat malt flavor provides a brief mid-palate structure before transitioning into a very dry, crisp finish. No hop flavor or bitterness is detected; the balance is driven entirely by the fruit and acidity. The finish is clean with a lingering berry tartness.

Mouthfeel. Light body with a crisp, refreshing texture. Very high carbonation provides a prickly, effervescent mouthfeel. No alcohol warmth is perceived at this ABV, and there is no astringency despite the significant fruit additions.
