The palate is defined by a harmonious balance of grainy malt depth and a firm, clean bitterness. Appearance. Bright amber to light copper (approximately 12 SRM). Generally clear with a moderate off-white head that exhibits good retention and fine-textured lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity featuring toasted malt and sweet caramel. Distinctive hop notes of fresh pine and bright citrus are prominent, complemented by light fruity esters and a rustic, grainy malt backbone.
Taste. Initial impression of toasted bread and light caramel sweetness followed by a pronounced, firm hop bitterness. Hop flavors display a blend of resinous pine and citrus zest. The fermentation is clean, leading to a crisp, fairly dry finish with a lingering herbal bitterness and grainy malt character.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, well-integrated texture. Moderate to high carbonation provides a refreshing prickle. Alcohol warmth is negligible, and the finish is clean without astringency.
