This Hazy IPA presents a vibrant, tropical-forward profile driven by the synergy of Citra and Riwaka hops. A luminous, straw-colored haze gives way to an intense bouquet of passion fruit, pink grapefruit, and sun-ripened mango. The Riwaka contributes a unique, pungent citrus depth that complements the bright lemon and stone fruit notes of Citra. On the palate, a soft, pillowy texture carries waves of tropical juice over a subtle, bready malt base. It maintains a restrained bitterness, ensuring a smooth, approachable character with a clean, fruity finish that emphasizes drinkability without sacrificing massive hop saturation.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4 SRM). Persistent, meringue-like white head with dense lacing. Opaque, uniform haze with a characteristic matte shine; no visible particulates or yeast clumps.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by passion fruit, grapefruit, and sweet citrus. Nuanced tropical notes of mango and lime. Background malt is lightly bready and grainy, providing a neutral foundation. Clean fermentation profile with very subtle fruity esters.
Taste. Immediate impact of tropical fruit juice, featuring lime zest and passion fruit from the Riwaka and Citra hops. Low to medium-low bitterness that is soft and well-integrated.
