Uiltje Brewing Company

Selfie Streaker is a vibrant American IPA that leverages the unique fermentation profile of Norwegian Kveik yeast to amplify its bold hop character. Pouring a clear medium gold, it releases an intense aromatic bouquet of tangerine, pineapple, and subtle pine resin. The 6.4% ABV provides a lean backbone for flavors of grapefruit and tropical fruit to dance over a crisp, grainy malt base. The Kveik yeast contributes a remarkably clean finish with just a hint of citrusy esters that complement the hop-forward profile. It concludes with a firm, lingering bitterness and a refreshing, bone-dry snap.

Appearance. Medium gold (approx. 7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Topped by a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of grapefruit, mango, and resinous pine. A low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral backdrop, while the Kveik yeast adds subtle orange-peel esters that integrate seamlessly with the hop profile.

Taste. Initial impression is sharply hop-forward with flavors of citrus zest and tropical fruit. Malt flavor is low, providing a light cracker-like support. Bitterness is medium-high and firm, balanced by a very dry finish. The aftertaste is long and hoppy with a clean fermentation character and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle on the tongue. There is a very light, smooth alcohol warmth appropriate for the 6.4% ABV.
