Naughty Nectar is a decadent, high-gravity Hazy IPA that blurs the line between hop-forward ale and liquid dessert. The sensory experience is dominated by a lush bouquet of sun-ripened apricot and fragrant vanilla, layered over the intense tropical profile of Mosaic and Nectaron hops. It pours with a thick, smoothie-like opacity, offering saturated notes of peach, passionfruit, and sweet berries. The malt base provides a soft, bready foundation that supports the dense fruit additions, while the vanilla smooths the finish, creating a velvety, full-bodied indulgence with a well-integrated alcoholic warmth that never becomes harsh.
Appearance. Deep straw to light orange (6 SRM) with a high degree of opacity. Features a dense, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing that clings to the glass.
Aroma. High intensity of stone fruit, specifically apricot, blended with vanilla and tropical hop notes of passionfruit and grapefruit from Nectaron. Clean, bready malt presence with a sweet, creamy lactose-like undertone; low fermentation esters.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor featuring berry and mango notes from Mosaic alongside distinct apricot. Low to medium-low bitterness is masked by a medium-full body and sweetness. Initial impression is of fruit-forward sweetness and vanilla, transitioning to a soft, lingering finish of stone fruit and cream without any hop harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full to full body with a smooth, creamy, and somewhat viscous texture. Moderate carbonation and a noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth that provides a soft glow on the palate.
