This Hazy IPA is a vibrant exploration of southern hemisphere and American hop profiles, featuring a complex blend of Citra, Eclipse, Mosaic, Rakau, and Simcoe. The aroma is dominated by an intense bouquet of ripe tropical melon and zesty citrus, supported by the concentrated punch of Cryo Citra and Cryo Simcoe. On the palate, the soft, bready malt foundation allows juicy notes of stone fruit and bright orange to shine through. It finishes with a smooth, comfortable bitterness that enhances drinkability, delivering a lush, fruit-forward experience that defines the modern, opaque hop-bomb aesthetic.
Appearance. Deep straw to light orange in color with a characteristic opaque, luminous haze. Topped with a dense, rocky white head that exhibits excellent retention and leaves thick rings of lacing.
Aroma. High-intensity hop aroma bursting with mango, passion fruit, and sweet cantaloupe melon. Distinctive citrus peel notes are complemented by berry-like and earthy undertones. Background malt is clean, suggesting fresh grain and light wheat breadiness, with no caramel presence.
Taste. Initial impression is a massive wave of tropical fruit salad and citrus juice. Flavors of tangerine, peach, and melon are prominent, backed by a soft, flour-like malt sweetness. Bitterness is moderate and well-integrated, never becoming harsh. The finish is off-dry and lingering with a persistent fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a plush mouthfeel without being prickly. At 6.5% ABV, there is only a very subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
