This Double IPA is an explosive sensory experience defined by a High Density Hop Charge. By utilizing Citra, Cryo Citra, and Incognito Citra hop extract, the profile delivers an intense saturation of tropical and citrus notes. Dominant aromas of ripe mango, juicy pineapple, and zesty grapefruit lead the palate, supported by a soft malt base featuring wheat for enhanced texture. Despite its 8.5% ABV, the beer maintains a modern, clean profile where the hop intensity provides a lush, saturated fruit character rather than harshness, reflecting the brewery's intent of infinite hop expression in a powerful yet drinkable frame.
Appearance. Gold to light orange (6-8 SRM) with a significant, persistent white head and heavy lacing. While the style traditionally allows for clarity, this high-density version presents a prominent haze.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring punchy mango, pineapple, and citrus zest. A supportive, neutral to grainy maltiness sits in the background with a slight bready note from wheat. Fermentation is clean with a very light, smooth alcohol presence.
Taste. Initial impression is dominated by intense hop flavors of grapefruit, orange, and mango. Bitterness is firm but lacks harshness, balancing a soft, supportive bready malt character. The finish is medium-dry and clean, leaving a lingering, resinous fruit aftertaste without being heavy or cloying.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, almost creamy texture from the hop oils and wheat. Carbonation is moderate. A restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present, contributing to the beer's substantial feel without being solventy.
