Tyris IPA presents a vibrant interpretation of the English IPA style, balancing classic structural integrity with modern hop intensity. The aromatic profile is led by punchy citrus, herbal, and resinous notes, indicative of contemporary hopping techniques. Underneath, a clean malt base provides a subtle bready foundation without overshadowing the hop-forward character. On the palate, the bitterness is assertive yet refined, leading with bright hop flavors that transition into a refreshing, lingering herbal finish. The 6% ABV provides a gentle, well-integrated presence, while the medium carbonation ensures an easy-drinking, crisp mouthfeel. Appearance. Gold to deep amber in color (8-12 SRM) with excellent clarity. It features a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate to high hop intensity featuring distinct citrus peel, dried herbs, and a touch of piney resin. Supported by medium-low bready and slightly toasted malt notes with very low fruity esters.
Taste. The initial impression is hop-dominant, delivering sharp citrus and herbal flavors. Medium-low bready malt flavor appears mid-palate to provide balance. Moderate to assertive bitterness defines the structure without being harsh. The finish is medium-dry to dry, leaving a refreshing and lingering herbal aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a crisp, refreshing sensation. Contains a very low, smooth alcohol warmth consistent with its strength.
