Inspired by a groovy collaboration, this American IPA bursts with modern hop character. Citra and Citra Spectrum deliver a vibrant wave of zesty pink grapefruit and luscious peach, while Strata adds depth with notes of passion fruit and a hint of dank resin. The overall sensory experience is bright, clean, and highly aromatic, evoking a sunny Italian disco. A pale, lean malt backbone ensures the intense hop profile remains front and center, leading to a crisp, dry finish with a well-balanced, firm bitterness. It is a highly expressive and refreshing take on the classic style.
Appearance. Medium gold with a very light, luminous haze. It is crowned by a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves delicate, soapy lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity aroma dominated by vibrant citrus and tropical notes. Prominent pink grapefruit, mango, and ripe peach mingle with a subtle berry and passion fruit character. A low, clean, grainy-sweet malt presence sits in the background, alongside a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. An immediate burst of tropical stone fruits and zesty grapefruit. The malt flavor is low and cleanly bready, providing a light, supportive base. Medium-high hop bitterness drives a crisp, dry to medium-dry finish. The aftertaste is clean and lingering with a pleasant, hoppy fruitiness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, non-astringent texture. Carbonation is medium-high and lively, accompanied by a very light, smooth, and well-integrated alcohol warmth.
