Vapour is a modern Hazy IPA that captures an ethereal, fruit-driven profile through a heavy-handed application of Cashmere, Citra, Galaxy, and Mosaic hops. The use of Cryo-processed varieties intensifies the aromatics, delivering a concentrated blast of tropical passionfruit, juicy mango, and bright citrus zest. This 7% ABV ale presents a pillowy, soft structure, emphasizing juicy hop-saturated flavors over aggressive bitterness. Supporting the massive hop load is a neutral, bready malt base that remains lean enough to let the stone fruit and melon notes shine, resulting in a smooth, high-impact drinking experience with a refreshing, off-dry finish.
Appearance. Color is straw to deep gold (4-6 SRM). It exhibits a characteristic opaque, hazy appearance with a soft glow. The head is white, rocky, and meringue-like with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring punchy tropical passionfruit and pineapple from Galaxy, paired with vibrant lime and grapefruit notes from Citra. Nuanced stone fruit, peach, and a hint of sweet melon from the Cashmere and Mosaic follow. Malt is low and bready, while fermentation is clean with subtle supporting fruity esters.
Taste. High to very high fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with mango, mixed berries, and citrus. Malt flavor is low, suggesting light grain or flaked cereals. Perceived bitterness is low to medium-low, well-masked by the fuller body and never harsh. The balance is decidedly hop-forward, finishing smooth and juicy with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and rounded texture. Carbonation is moderate. There is a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. The mouthfeel is notably smooth, lacking any hop astringency, acidity, or raw starchiness.
