Extra Green Crew is a masterclass in hop saturation, utilizing a triple-threat of Citra, Citra Cryo, and Citra Terpene to deliver a sensory explosion. This Hazy IPA pours with a vibrant, opaque glow, releasing massive aromas of fresh tangerine and hyper-tropical fruit. On the palate, the intense citrus oils from the Citra hops create a juicy profile that transitions into exotic, lush fruit notes. The soft, pillowy body ensures the high hop intensity remains smooth rather than sharp. With its restrained bitterness and clean, grainy malt backbone, this expression highlights the modern depth of Citra-forward craftsmanship.
Appearance. Luminous straw to deep gold (SRM 4-6) with a significant, opaque haze and a beautiful shine. Topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by citrus and tropical fruit. Strong notes of tangerine, mango, and passion fruit from the Citra and Citra Cryo additions. Background malt is low and neutral, providing a light bready or grainy scent with no caramel or toast notes.
Taste. High to very high fruity hop flavor, led by bright tangerine and complex tropical notes. Low to medium-high perceived bitterness that is well-masked by the soft body. The malt flavor is low and grainy, supporting the hop oils. Finish is off-dry to medium and smooth, leaving a lingering juicy impression without any harshness or astringency.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and pillowy texture. Medium carbonation provides a gentle lift, while a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present. No astringency, harshness, or raw starch texture.
