Two Flints Brewery

This American Pale Ale delivers a vivid, tropical experience defined by a heavy-handed application of New Zealand hops. Riwaka drives the profile with pungent layers of passionfruit and zesty grapefruit, complemented by a unique savory undertone. Supporting roles from Nelson Sauvin, Rakau, and Motueka add complex layers of crushed white grapes, stone fruit, and fresh lime zest. The appearance is a glowing bright straw with a persistent haze, inviting a soft, cloud-like texture on the palate. Despite the intense fruit-forward hop character, the beer maintains a balanced bitterness and a clean finish, staying true to its refreshing and drinkable roots.

Appearance. Bright straw color (3-4 SRM). Opaque haze with a moderately large, frothy white head. Excellent retention with persistent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma. Bold passionfruit, grapefruit, and a distinct savory edge from Riwaka. Notes of white wine and gooseberry from Nelson Sauvin, alongside stone fruit and lime. Low, neutral grainy maltiness.

Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with tropical fruit. Flavors of passionfruit, melon, and citrus dominate. Nelson Sauvin contributes a subtle vinous character, while Rakau adds soft orchard fruit notes. Moderate bitterness that is firm but smooth. Clean fermentation profile with a medium-dry finish.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a pillowy, soft, and creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. No astringency or harshness; very smooth finish.
