This regal Wild Specialty Beer pours a magnificent deep dark red, immediately capturing the eye with its royal hue. The aroma is an intense bouquet of freshly crushed raspberries and earthy blackcurrants, underpinned by a sharp, clean lactic acidity. On the palate, the double-mashed base of wheat and oats provides a surprisingly luscious, medium-full body that carries the massive 200g/L fruit load with ease. Intense tart berry flavors dominate, balanced by a subtle bready malt backbone and a noticeable alcohol warmth from its 9.2% ABV. It finishes crisp and dry, leaving a lingering, vibrant fruit-skin tannin and a luxurious mouthfeel.
