This American Pale Ale delivers a unique sensory experience through its collaboration with Karma Coast, integrating a hemp infusion for a distinctive herbal and dank character. At 5% ABV, it presents a vibrant tropical fruit bouquet that intermingles with pungent, resinous notes. The aroma is dominated by these hop-forward qualities, supported by a subtle, clean malt backbone. Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber (SRM 6–8) with high clarity. It supports a moderately large, creamy off-white head with persistent retention and fine lacing.
Aroma. Moderate-high intensity featuring a complex blend of tropical fruit, resinous pine, and a pronounced dank, herbal quality from the hemp. Low grainy malt sweetness provides a neutral foundation, while light fermentation esters are barely perceptible.
Taste. Assertive initial hop flavors of mango and passionfruit transition into a mid-palate defined by herbal, dank hemp notes and earthy spice. Bitterness is moderate, balanced by a light bready malt character. The finish is clean and medium-dry, with lingering resinous hop oils and herbal notes in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with moderate to high carbonation that enhances the crispness. The finish is smooth and devoid of astringency, with a very subtle, well-integrated alcohol presence.
