This American Pale Ale offers a textured, seasonal profile that bridges the gap between summer brightness and autumn depth. The incorporation of oats and wheat creates a soft, pillowy mouthfeel that carries a vibrant tropical hop profile. Citra delivers signature bursts of mango and lychee, while Ekuanot provides complex layers of papaya and a hint of lime zest. Underlying these high-tonal fruit notes is a gentle, grainy malt base that stays clean and supportive. Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (approx. 7–9 SRM). Large, creamy white head with excellent retention and lacing. Generally clear, though the use of wheat and oats may provide a very slight, attractive haze.
Aroma. Moderate-high intensity featuring prominent tropical fruit notes of mango, papaya, and lime from the Citra and Ekuanot hops. Background notes of white bread and a slight nutty, grainy sweetness from the oats and wheat. Clean fermentation with minimal esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a splash of tropical fruit—lychee, citrus peel, and stone fruit. Moderate bitterness provides a firm structure without being aggressive. The malt character is neutral and bready, providing a smooth platform for the hops. Finish is medium-dry and clean with a lingering citrus zest.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a noticeably smooth, slightly creamy texture derived from the oat and wheat additions. Moderate carbonation. No alcohol warmth or astringency.
