Distant Echo is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a sophisticated hop blend of Mosaic, Ekuanot, and Sabro. The sensory experience is led by a rush of tropical complexity, where Mosaic provides deep notes of blueberry and mango, while Ekuanot contributes zesty lime and papaya. Sabro adds a unique dimension of creamy coconut and stone fruit. Despite its crisp finish, the beer maintains the signature soft, pillowy texture of the style. The 6% ABV is expertly integrated, supporting a profile rich in citrus and melon. This well-balanced ale delivers intense hop saturation without harshness, resulting in a modern, juicy profile that remains remarkably drinkable.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4-6 SRM) with a distinctively hazy, opaque appearance. Topped by a dense, rocky, white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of ripe mango, lime zest, and papaya, underscored by a subtle creamy coconut and stone fruit character. Low, clean, bready malt provides a neutral background with no caramel or toast.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with prominent blueberry, tropical melon, and citrus. Low bready malt flavor supports a moderate but smooth bitterness that lacks any harshness. The finish is off-dry and well-balanced, leaving a lingering impression of tropical fruit.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation and very light alcohol warmth that is well-integrated and never sharp.
