This massive Imperial Stout, a collaboration with Other Half, presents a decadently layered sensory experience shaped by twenty-four months in Rieger Whiskey barrels. The aroma is dominated by the intense fragrance of freshly roasted Cloud Cover coffee and earthy, toasted pecans, underpinned by a deep, dark malt backbone. On the palate, the sheer viscosity of its seventeen percent alcohol provides a luxurious, velvety texture that carries complex layers of charred oak, spirit-forward vanilla, and dark chocolate. The addition of cocoa butter rounds out the mid-palate, leading into a rich, lingering, and remarkably creamy finish that masks its formidable strength.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque; a thin, dark tan head with low retention that leaves oily legs on the glass, indicative of high viscosity and alcohol.
