This collaborative Hazy IPA presents a lush, tropical tapestry woven from Mosaic, Vic Secret, and Strata hops. The heavy use of oats creates a soft, pillowy canvas for intense aromatics of passionfruit, bright pineapple, and ripe berries. Mosaic lends a distinct blueberry and stone fruit depth, while Vic Secret and Strata elevate the profile with layers of resinous tropical fruit and a hint of garden-fresh strawberry. Despite its opacity and saturated hop character, the beer maintains high drinkability with a restrained bitterness and a smooth, juicy finish that emphasizes hop depth and biotransformation over sharp, resinous edges.
Appearance. Straw to light gold with a distinct, opaque haze and a luminous shine. Supports a thick, meringue-like white head with high retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High-intensity aroma featuring a bouquet of passionfruit, pineapple, and mango from Mosaic and Vic Secret. A light bready, grainy malt character supports the fruit, accompanied by clean fermentation esters.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with notes of tropical fruit and strawberry from Strata. Malt flavor is low and bready. Bitterness is low to moderate, leading to an off-dry, smooth, and juicy finish without harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable creaminess and softness from the oats. Moderate carbonation and a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth with no astringency.
