This potent Double IPA offers an immersive sensory experience defined by a lush, tropical hop profile and a velvety structure. Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (8-12 SRM). Opaque and hazy with a dense, persistent, off-white head that leaves thick lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of passion fruit, lychee, and grapefruit from Citra Lupomax, complemented by the gooseberry and white wine character of Nelson Sauvin. Background notes of sweet cream and doughy malt are present, with a clean, low-ester fermentation profile and a hint of smooth alcohol.
Taste. An initial explosion of tropical fruit and citrus flavor is followed by a soft, cereal-like malt sweetness. The hop profile is complex, showcasing tangerine, mango, and a light herbal spice.
