The collaboration between Tripping Animals and Equilibrium emphasizes a pillowy-soft texture, where the assertive hop character is tempered by a creamy, cloudlike mouthfeel. Appearance. Pale gold to light orange (6-8 SRM) with an opaque, hazy appearance. Topped by a dense, persistent white head that leaves thick lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics dominated by Nelson Sauvin’s signature white grape and gooseberry, complemented by the sharp lime zest of Mega Motueka. Background notes of tropical mango and a slight resinous dankness from Krush hops are supported by a clean, neutral malt base.
Taste. The initial impression is a burst of juicy tropical fruit and citrus. Prominent hop flavors of lime, white wine, and stone fruit lead into a firm but smooth bitterness.
