This punchy Double IPA delivers an intense burst of tropical fruit and resinous depth, showcasing a double dry-hop combination of Simcoe and Mosaic alongside Admiral, Chinook, and Centennial. Bold, mango-forward aromas lead the sensory charge, bolstered by layers of passion fruit, pine, and sweet citrus. Despite its robust strength, a clean, soft malt profile supports the explosive hop character without competing. It pours with an appealing modern haze, offering a juicy, luscious mouthfeel that balances a firm, clean bitterness before culminating in a dry, lingering, tropical finish designed for high drinkability.
Appearance. Pours a hazy, light orange-gold color with a thick, persistent, off-white head that leaves dense, clinging lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Intense, prominent hop aroma showcasing heavy mango, passion fruit, and mixed tropical berries. This is backed by resinous pine, grapefruit peel, and subtle floral undertones. Malt character is clean, neutral, and very low in the background, with a soft, clean alcohol sweetness.
Taste. An initial punch of sweet mango, citrus, and stone fruit gives way to a firm, supportive resinous pine and grapefruit oil flavor. Medium-low, neutral crackery malt sweetness supports the hops. Bitterness is moderately high and clean, never harsh. Finishes dry to medium-dry with a lingering tropical and piney hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, smooth, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. A gentle, clean alcohol warmth is present but exceptionally well-integrated, without any harsh hop-derived astringency.
