This modern take on a German Pils, brewed as a hazy Kellerpils in collaboration with Sureshot, marries traditional crispness with a bold, new-world hop profile. The use of Cryo Amarillo, Cryo Mosaic, and Cryo Citra creates a vibrant sensory experience, bursting with notes of mango, blueberry, and zesty citrus. Beneath the fruit-forward intensity, a solid foundation of grainy-sweet Pilsner malt provides a bready, cracker-like backbone. It pours with a soft, inviting haze typical of the Kellerpils style, delivering a sharp, clean finish and a lingering, refreshing bitterness that demands another sip of this Manchester-inspired lager.
Appearance. 3 SRM (Straw to light gold). Hazy to opaque characteristic of a Kellerpils, topped with a dense, creamy white head with excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominant tropical fruit and citrus notes from Cryo Mosaic and Cryo Citra, specifically mango, passionfruit, and bright tangerine. Light floral and peach-like esters from Cryo Amarillo. Supported by a moderate grainy-sweet, doughy malt character. Very clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial flash of bready, cracker-like malt flavor is rapidly superseded by an explosion of tropical fruit and citrus. Moderate-high hop bitterness provides a firm, crisp structure. The finish is very dry and refreshing, with lingering notes of grapefruit pith and berry. High attenuation ensures a clean, non-lingering sweetness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a slightly softer texture due to the hazy Kellerpils presentation. High carbonation provides a lively, scrubbing bubbles effect. No alcohol warmth; crisp and highly drinkable.
