Tripel Karmeliet is a very refined and complex golden-to-bronze brew with a fantastic creamy head. These characteristics derive not only from
the grains used but also from restrained hopping with Styrians and the fruity nature (banana and vanilla) of the house yeast. Aroma has hints of vanilla mixed with citrus aromas. Tripel Karmeliet has not only the lightness and freshness of wheat, but also the creaminess of oats together with a spicy lemony almost quinine dryness.

La bière Tripel Karmeliet a été créée en 1996. Le brasseur s'est inspiré d'une boulangerie locale et a été impressionné par leur pain multi-céréales. C'est ainsi qu'il a eu l'idée de créer une bière Tripel et a travaillé à affiner la recette pendant trois ans.
Par la suite, il a eu la chance de découvrir une recette qui remonte à 1679. Cette recette de bière était très similaire à la recette sur laquelle il travaillait. Cette ancienne recette a eu une grande influence sur la recette moderne de la Tripel Karmeliet. Cela a conduit à la bière tripel que nous connaissons aujourd'hui et qui est devenue instantanément un succès.
La bière a une belle mousse crémeuse et une couleur dorée. Au nez, vous avez des notes épicées et des touches de vanille et d'agrumes. La saveur de la Tripel Karmeliet est rafraîchissante avec des notes épicées, terreuses et sucrées. L'avoine apporte une sensation crémeuse en bouche et une finale douce. Vous pouvez également obtenir des notes de banane et de vanille qui évoluent vers un goût d'orange tout au long de la consommation.
Le processus de brassage de la bière Tripel Karmeliet est beaucoup plus long que d'habitude et dure jusqu'à 6 ou 7 semaines. C'est uniquement pour assurer la qualité et un goût irréprochable.
De plus, cette bière a remporté plusieurs prix, dont les World Beer Awards, les World Beer Championships, The International Beer Challenge et Asia Beer Challenge. Vous pouvez être sûr que cette bière est une pure perfection. Un grand classique belge!
