This American Pale Ale presents a modern New Zealand twist on the classic style, defined by its exceptionally soft and pillowy mouthfeel. The sensory profile is dominated by a vibrant bouquet of Nelson Sauvin hops, contributing signature notes of gooseberry and fresh white grape. These are masterfully layered with the tropical fruit punch of Nectaron and the bright citrus zest of Motueka. Beneath the expressive hop intensity lies a clean, grainy malt base that provides just enough support without distracting from the fruit-forward character. It finishes crisp and incredibly drinkable, showcasing the unique terroir of Southern Hemisphere hops in a sessionable format.

Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (5-6 SRM). Significant hazy turbidity with a large, frothy white head that exhibits excellent retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring crushed white grapes, gooseberry, and passionfruit. Secondary notes of lime zest and pineapple from the Nectaron and Motueka are prominent. Low bready and grainy malt presence with a very clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of white wine and tropical fruit. Nelson Sauvin provides distinct grape and berry flavors, while Nectaron adds stone fruit complexity. Moderate bitterness (approx. 35 IBU) balances a subtle, soft malt backbone. The finish is dry and clean with a lingering lime and tropical fruit aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a characteristic soft, pillowy texture. Moderate to high carbonation. Completely smooth with no alcohol warmth or hop astringency.
