Solar Glory is a luminous Hazy IPA that radiates with a lush, tropical intensity. The hop profile is driven by a potent trio: Strata provides deep layers of passionfruit and strawberry, while El Dorado contributes sweet notes of candied pineapple and stone fruit. Azacca rounds out the experience with bright citrus zestiness and a subtle, balancing savory edge that tempers the juice-forward profile. Expect a soft, bready malt foundation that supports the juicy character without adding heavy sweetness. Appearance. Color is a pale straw to light gold (3-6 SRM) with a pronounced, opaque haze that gives the beer a luminous shine. It is topped by a dense, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by mango, passionfruit, and candied pineapple, supported by a bright citrus zestiness. A clean, lightly bready and grainy malt character sits in the background, while fermentation provides subtle, supportive fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of tropical fruit and citrus. Prominent flavors of pineapple and ripe stone fruit lead into a mid-palette of citrus peel and a unique, light savory complexity. Malt flavor is low to moderate, offering a neutral, doughy base. The perceived bitterness is low to moderate, feeling soft rather than sharp, leading to a smooth, off-dry finish.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and luscious texture. Carbonation is moderate. The beer is remarkably smooth with no harshness or hop burn, featuring a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
