This American IPA presents a vibrant and assertive sensory profile characterized by a seductive hop forwardness. Pouring a clear, deep gold with a persistent white head, it immediately releases an intense bouquet of grapefruit zest, resinous pine, and hints of tropical mango characteristic of New World hop varieties. On the palate, a crisp, clean malt base provides a light grainy sweetness that quickly yields to a firm, clean bitterness. The finish is decisively dry and refreshing, leaving a lingering trail of citrus peel. Balanced yet bold, it captures the spirited intensity of a classic coastal India Pale Ale with a clean fermentation profile.
Appearance. Deep gold to light amber in color (8-12 SRM). Exhibits brilliant clarity with a medium-sized, off-white head that demonstrates good persistence and leaves light lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, resinous pine, and subtle tropical stone fruit. A low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness provides a supportive background. Fermentation profile is clean with very low fruity esters and no yeast-derived phenols.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with flavors of citrus zest and pine needles.
