This Altbier presents a sophisticated layering of Munich, Dark Munich, and Aromatic German malts, delivering a deeply toasted profile reminiscent of hearty brown bread and rustic grain. Conditioned in horizontal oak casks, the sensory experience is elevated by a subtle structural softness and a whisper of wood-derived depth. Sturdy noble hops provide a spicy, hay-like counterpoint to the rich malt core, maintaining the style’s traditional balance. The finish is remarkably clean and dry, reflecting careful cool fermentation.
