On the palate, a thick, chewy malt presence features layers of English biscuits and graham crackers, reflecting the traditional use of Scottish pale ale malt. Despite the substantial 9% ABV, the alcohol warmth remains smooth and well-integrated. The finish is sweet and lingering, with a faint, grainy roast character that balances the opulent malt depth without becoming cloying.
Appearance. Dark brown with prominent deep ruby highlights; clear liquid topped with a dense tan head that shows moderate persistence and creates noticeable legs on the glass.
