Track Brewing Company's Vertigo is a sophisticated Dark Mild that elevates the traditional session style with a robust 5.3% ABV. Poured a deep, dark ruby, it greets the nose with an inviting bouquet of rich caramel and toasted brown sugar. The palate is defined by beautiful roasted malts, offering layers of cocoa and toffee that harmonise with a gentle, bready base. While staying true to its heritage, this expression provides a slightly fuller mouthfeel and a clean, sweet finish. Low hop bitterness allows the malt complexity to lead, resulting in a comforting, flavorful ale that captures the essence of the classic British style.
Appearance. Deep ruby to dark mahogany (SRM 20-25). Clear clarity. Moderate tan head with fair retention and light lacing.
Aroma. Moderate malt intensity featuring brown sugar, caramel, and light roast. Accompanied by low dark fruit esters reminiscent of plum and a very low, subtle earthy hop character.
Taste. Sweet brown sugar and caramel initial impression. Malt-forward flavors of milk chocolate and toasted nuts follow. Low bitterness provides a gentle balance, leading to a smooth, malt-driven finish with a hint of roasted grain.

Let settle and keep cool for at least 4 hours (Preferably 12+)
Pour without venting (it will be lively)
As the flow slows, open the vent at the top - this will allow you to pour.
Close the vent and open it when you pour your beer - close it immediately after.
