This powerful Double IPA presents an intense sensory landscape defined by a sophisticated hop architecture. The utilization of Citra in pellet, Dynaboost, and Liquid Lupulin forms creates an overwhelming citrus foundation layered with deep tropical and dank complexities. This is further supercharged by the New Zealand trio of Nectaron, Motueka, and Peacharine, which infuse the profile with lush stone fruit and vibrant lime characteristics. Despite its 8.2% ABV, the beer remains exceptionally drinkable, balanced by a clean, supportive malt backbone and a smooth, dry finish that allows the shifting fruit flavors to remain the focal point.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange; moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with fine lacing; slight haze typical of modern double dry-hopped versions (SRM 6-8).
Aroma. Intense aroma of bright grapefruit and lime zest from Citra and Motueka; prominent stone fruit notes of peach and apricot driven by Nectaron and Peacharine; underlying dank, resinous, and tropical passion fruit character; supportive, clean, neutral grainy malt.
Taste. High hop bitterness that remains smooth and lacks harshness; explosive flavors of citrus, mango, and peach; a slight resinous dankness emerges mid-palate; very low, clean malt sweetness; dry finish with a lingering, clean hop-forward aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture; moderate carbonation; restrained, well-integrated alcohol warmth; no hop-derived astringency.
